Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will bring accounting expertise and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to support our financial operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting: Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
ERP System Management: Utilize and maintain the ERP system to streamline accounting processes, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee AP/AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with management to assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, GAAP standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized business environment.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA certification or progress toward certification.
Experience in the manufacturing or technology industry.
Familiarity with multi-entity accounting.
